Duncan Patterson (ex-ANATHEMA) has some perseverance in his veins and after a shy debut returns with a prettier album in PINK FLOYD's style and with some Ambient tendencies. Otherwise it is just Rock Electronic moulded on a Dark Melancholic aura, alternative vocals in lack of charm and personality, instruments playing almost perfect but with no dynamism or a clear message. I'd say it is an idea to be appreciated here as Duncan and Mick Moss are really talented with instruments but not that gifted to enter the "waters" of great Roger Waters and I must say... the vocals need a little more practice. Despite such, there is a track to be remembered, the second one. I see ANTIMATTER definitely more profound and serious than before with a single male voice and I believe that a future album must reveal the conceptual identity of these two refined musicians. But, unless they reach this, this very release can only awake your curiosity and maybe a little of your respect for such sound.
