ASHRAM "Shining Silver Skies"
  • Album: Shining Silver Skies
  • Year: 2006
  • Label: EQUILIBRIUM
  • Artist:
  • Italy

After a rather unknown debut, the three Italians returned with a new and elegant Neo - Classical release, a mixture of soundtrack and classical music, where the only instruments are to be the violin, the cello and the piano. Moreover, Sergio's calm voice seals the difference between the usual chamber music and ASHRAM. Until now, I haven't listened to such a sound among the bands I promote, but I'm glad I had the opportunity to spare a few rows to ASHRAM, even if it's not my ground to instill a detailed review. A superb atmosphere, a rapturous frame of mind and soul... pity that monotony nestles at one time, and the "intellectual" passages turn identical. I sincerely admit that the three's music veils within a romantic, melancholic and dreamy aura.
