Well I lived to catch this day - German bands recording in Pytten's studios, in Norway , namely, Grieghallen! Therefore, I found out that the album's intro (otherwise pretty bombastic and imposing) was composed and interpreted by Morfeus (LIMBONIC ART) while on few passages Ares (AETERNUS) features as well. The six Germans' music is desired to be aggressive and modern in the same time whereas the Epic Black Metal line is a dominant mark. Except the atmospheric sequences and some melodic elements interposed with female vocals, the rest of the material is a common place for Black field, perhaps a little too coloured and full of various influences, from Death, Black and Dark to la Heavy or even Atmospheric. Well, it is a listenable sound, in lack of identity, aggressive vocals punctuating the clear ones and with a fast and submissive drum machine. What I find amazing are the guitar parts, the fastness and skilfulness of the musicians and I consider such just the band's aces. On the other hand, I must confess, these new tracks are by far above those included in "Tales From Eternal Dusk" and this makes of it a high quality emblem for German Black Metal. I'd say that it is pretty noticeable the seriousness of the six both in conceiving and performing this chapter and I am sure it will completely satisfy the tastes of all adepts of multidimensional complex Black Metal!
