I knew that the band disappeared in 2000! After two discreet albums, released at Avantgarde, the four Norwegians have decided to split. Obsidian C. kept going on by himself and here we are reviewing his work. I guess it is noticeable that he had the opportunity to play live in Satyr's band, fact which conferred him a good shape. Probably thanks to this fact he reached collaboration with Frost and now he is KEEP OF KALESSIN's actual bass player. There is even more to be said: vocal parts were performed by Atilla Chisar, known from his collaboration with bands like TORMENTOR, MAYHEM or ABORYM. Therefore, this is an outstanding Norwegian Black Metal, very fast, with a super-furious battery and Atilla's unique voice. There are as well some domestic passages where the synth is elegantly pointed out or where the guitar's solos tend to be Heavy Metal. Obsidian C brings nothing new but you should know that his approach of Black Metal is elegant and the bombastic sound is full of energy... if positive or negative... this is something only they can know!
