LUIGI RUBINO "A Theme For The Moon"
  • Album: A Theme For The Moon
  • Year: 2009
  • Artist:
  • Italy

Luigi is a piano player that came into the limelight through his collaborations with a few underground bands: ASHRAM, ARGINE, CORDE OBLIQUE, TREES… This time the artist has put into value his very best asset, the piano, framing an incredibly beautiful Neoclassical that belongs somewhere between Debussy, Chopin, Bach, Rachmaninov, Wagner but also Michael Nyman or Y. Tiersen. Additional to the crystal clear piano we also find a gracious violoncello or authentic sopranos or mezzo-sopranos, all these ‘ingredients’ turning the album into a real jewel for all those who love classical music!
