PARZIVAL "Zeitgest/Noblesse Oblige"
  • Album: Zeitgest/Noblesse Oblige
  • Year: 2009
  • Label: EUPHONIOUS
  • Artist:
  • Russia

Album number seven belonging to the quartet seems to be slower that the preceding one, “Noblesse Oblige”, but equally electro and bombastic, with a male voice of low tonality that can awake the dead and imposing percussion. The apocalyptic themes, the medieval mysticism, it all sounds rather casual, a musical style that is difficult to be compared or even described, part from using LAIBACH as bench-mark. The lyrics are in German, Latin and Russian and the theatrical Dark Atmospheric seems to dominate the bombastic sound. This double CD also contains the concert that took place on the 6th of June 2007, where you can see how PARZIVAL behaves on stage, this time in front of a small crowd; a good opportunity to understand the concept behind the band… Somewhat dull at times but with a very present Electro note, the music seems to have convinced a lot of people, especially after the two gigs had at WGT. A sound dedicated exclusively to the fans of LAIBACH!
