Less Black Metal than other bands of the moment and more Death Metal than what we're used to get to listen every day...or vice versa. That's today's VESANIA. The Symphonic Black and Death Metal combination enlivens a particular beauty especially as the keyboards are used pretty bright and star a cosmic dimension, reminding me of DIMMU or the early LIMBONIC ART. We cannot exclude VADER or BEHEMOTH on our comparison tracking, especially when listening to Orion's extremely expressive, violent and mighty voice or the guitars' riffs. This combination is brutal and extreme, yet also orchestral and atmospheric! VESANIA brings nothing new, but it succeeds into overrunning themselves with this very album, blurring the previous one, "God the Lux". It stands as a virtuosity proof, something like gathering some experienced Death performers which decide to mix everything they've learn in early times with the current Black modernism! And the result sounds quite fine, even though it only impresses by stings deftness. It is a more Black BEHEMOTH! Or is it VADER?
